"Helping Youth Find a Place to Belong"
Imagine a group of ordinary teenagers who have embarked on a spiritual journey that leads to radical transformation. As they journey, their sorrow turns into joy. Where there was disappointment and disillusionment, hope and purpose now live there. As each step is taken, dreams begin to resurrect and the future comes into focus. They define their lives around a lost treasure of divine truth that says, "…you have been created in the image of God and chosen to live out a destiny."
They now live dangerously, worship passionately, and love unconditionally. They are seed-throwers and fire-starters, hope-peddlers and grace-givers, risk-takers and dreamers. They seek to change their world by living out their God-given life to its fullest. They tell their stories of Jesus to everyone and will show love to anyone.
Imagine a place where laughter is heard often, differences are embraced and the curious are welcomed. It's a safe place full of real people where friendships are formed, relationships are mended, where old wounds are healed, and God's limitless power and love is felt. It's a place of discovery where life is pursued.
Those teenagers and this place is us…Refuge.
